OHVCMG Spring 2015 conference, presented with COMUG

Ohio Valley CMG and Central Ohio Mainframe Users Group are teaming up to deliver you a full day of great mainframe performance content on April 28th, 2015. If you’re a CMG member who is not a mainframe professional, stay tuned: we’re planning a fall conference of non-mainframe content.

The primary meeting location will be the IBM campus in Dublin Ohio, with the satellite location being Progressive Insurance in Mayfield Village Ohio. Data Kinetics and IBM have sponsored breakfast and lunch, allowing us to reduce our registration cost to $0. Yes, that is a zero. The hassle of filling out an expense report is not a valid excuse for not attending! Moreover, we’re also making the live webcast of the event freely available as well. We hope you’ll join us in one of our two locations in order to get the benefit of networking with your peers, but we understand if you just can’t make it out of the office.

Advanced registration is requested and is now closed.

No matter how you attend, you will get to hear some great presentations by some great speakers.
Steve Guendert is going to be updating us on FICON advancements in the z13.** Peter Enrico will be presenting an exciting topic: “System z Processor Consumption Analysis, or What is Consuming All the CPU?”. Scott Chapman will be giving an interesting presentation on IDAA user experiences.

Data Kinetics will give us their view on Presenting IT to your Finance partner. They will also during lunch tell us about how their products have helped organizations.

After lunch we’re very pleased to have Monte Bauman of IBM present “z13 for Capacity Planners”

We’ll close out the day with a roundtable discussion led by COMUG (Central Ohio Mainframe User Group).
